The origin of the coffee beans
More than 1,000 small farmers in the region work together in the Thirikwa cooperative. With more than 200 tons, they create a regional blend that reflects the taste diversity and complexity of the entire region.
The small farmers harvest their cherries by hand and then bring them to the Gakuyini mill on the same day. This is where sorting, processing and packaging takes place for later export.
